Theater Degree at Asheville Masonic Temple with Mount Hermon Lodge 118, North Carolina

The Trowel is an instrument made use of by operative masons to spread the cement which unites a building into one mass, but we, as Free and Accepted Masons, are taught to make use of it for the more noble and glorious purpose of spreading the cement of brotherly love and affection; that cement which unites us into one sacred band or society of friends and brothers, among whom no contention should ever exist but that noble contention, or, rather, emulation, of who can best work or best agree.

Congratulations, Brothers Coin and McNatt! Thank you to our Brothers from the local WNC lodges who attended, as well as Brothers from Greensboro, NC and Charolotte, NC. We appreciate you!

Worshipful Brother Rick Patton of Black Mountain Lodge #663 conferred the 2nd section and Brother Shawn Cole of Blackmer Lodge #170 provided the lecture. Thank you, Gentlemen!

Mount Hermon Lodge #118 was chartered in 1848 by the Grand Lodge of North Carolina. Housed in the Asheville Masonic Temple, our Stated Communication meets on the first Thursday of each month with an open dinner at 6:30pm and the meeting following at 7:30pm.
